Important Information About Procedures for Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the law requires all Financial Institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
Our KYC Identification and Procedures for New Accounts
Government rules adopted to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing require all Financial Institutions to obtain, record and verify information that identifies each individual or entity that opens an account.

When you open an account with International Monetary Group LP, we will ask you for your name and address. We will also ask for an identification number and a valid utility bill. For individuals, you must supply a passport or other government-issued photo identification document. For Entities, it means a taxpayer identification number.

In addition, you may be required to provide identification documents as necessary to enable our Financial Institution to verify your identity. International Monetary Group LP may also screen your name against various databases to verify your identity. All information and documentation will be treated in a manner so as to protect your privacy.

International Monetary Group LP is required to verify the identity of its customers. In certain circumstances, we may not be able to open an account or conduct any transactions for you until we have obtained and verified the necessary identification information.

If we have opened an account for you, we may have to restrict, freeze or close it if you do not supply the necessary information or documents or if we are unable to verify your identity or source of funds.

Verification of Incoming Transfers
All incoming transfers must be cleared by International Monetary Group LP to ensure that the funds transferred have not been obtained fraudulently.

In order for International Monetary Group to clear certain funds for deposit, clients may be required to submit a Declaration of Source of Funds (DSF) and supporting documentation that can be used by International Monetary Group to verify that the funds have been transferred legitimately. Only upon verification of transfers will funds be deposited into client accounts. Funds that are not cleared within 60 days will be returned to the sending bank.
